Summary Provide consistent high quality service to all guests who dine in the restaurant.  This is obtained by leadership and management of front of the house team while maintaining open two-way communication with restaurant chef and culinary team.       Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.   Promote positive work environment   Train staff weekly on sequence of service standards   Manage operations of shift including assignments at work stations, breaks, coaching counseling and scheduling for all staff on duty.   Communicate and work with support departments to insure smooth operations.   Hold daily pre-shift meetings.   Manage safety and sanitation throughout the restaurant.   Perform daily walk-through of physical plant to perform preventative maintenance.   Communicate all shift information in Log-Book.   Understand and be able to operate Point of Sale System, run daily reports as instructed.   Order provisions through the automated requisition system as required.   Other duties as assigned   Supervisory Responsibilities Directly supervises employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.   Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   Education and/or Experience One to three years experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor/Assistant Manager in high volume three meal/24 hour a day operation or similar customer service environment. Summary   Safely assist the bartender/cocktail servers in providing satisfactory beverage service by maintaining adequate supplies of garnish, glassware, ice, liquor etc. at assigned work station                                                     Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.   Retrieve orders from storeroom.   Visually check stock received against written requisition with storeroom personnel to insure the order is accurate.   Upon delivery to the bar, recheck items with the bartender for completeness.   Check with and assist Bartender in maintaining adequate amounts of supplies i.e. straws, stir sticks, napkins, and matches etc. for workstation.   Additional duties include rotation beer and fill reach in refrigerators, washing and stocking glassware, maintain stock of fruit fill and replace as needed.   Fill ice bins, empty garbage, replace trash liners, wipe and pick up surfaces as time allows, check kegs, replace dirty bar mats, sweep floors, clean screens in glass washer, wipe down bottles, clean spouts, clean beer drains, gun drains, counter drains and ice bins.   Wash floors.   Cut slice and peel perishable garnishes and fruits.   Maintain mix and pour juice in sufficient amount according to projected business.   Store back up supplies needing refrigeration in prescribed containers for later use.   Scoop ice from bins, transport to service areas and replenish ice containers.   Box and save empty liquor bottles as they accumulate for later returns and requisitions.   Transport taps, replace and perform routine maintenance requirements on heavy beer kegs.   Obtain change for bartenders upon request.   Check station before, after and during shift to insure proper setup and cleanliness are maintained.   Supervisory Responsibilities                                                 This job has no supervisory responsibilities.   Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.  The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.   Education and/or Experience                                              High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Exemplify excellent guest service and extensive food and beverage knowledge.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.   Take food and beverage orders from guests.   Server must be able to describe Chef’s special, featured wines/spirits, promotions, and thoroughly answer menu questions with confidence.   Deliver food orders to guests dining in a full service restaurant.    Carry a 27” oval tray in a traditional restaurant style containing hot and cold food items.   Perform steps of service and maintain restaurant service standards.   Practice Safety and Sanitation techniques.   Obtain TIPS certificate and Guest Service Training within 90 days of employment.   Perform proper table side wine service. Capable of describing, opening, and presenting wine.   Perform tasks including bussing tables, seating guests, side work, and duties assigned by management.   Provide excellent service to the guests (i.e. following SOS, thorough menu knowledge, timely check back).   Communicate basic knowledge about the casino resort.   Follow RICH and Food & Beverage standards.   Navigate through POS system and perform transactions such as placing food and beverage orders, typing in modifiers, splitting checks, and providing accurate table numbers and guest count.   Perform self-banking duties such as tendering Offline Acres, Officer Comps, Business Comps, Food Vouchers, credit cards, cash, and other forms of payments. In addition, reconcile paperwork and perform proper drop with minimal variance.   Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.   Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily with or without reasonable accommodations.
