Controls Poker table by performing the duties outlined below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following Other duties may be assigned.
Shuffles and deals cards as required for the play of carious forms of Poker.
Applies knowledge of dealing procedures including house and collection rules so as to preserve
the security and integrity of games.
Deals cards at an acceptable pace.
Notifies the supervisor of any open seats at the table.
Assists in the seating of players.
Assists in preparation of waiting lists for each game.
Controls the actions of players during games.
exchanges paper currency for gaming chips.
Pushes winning spots.
Notifies supervisor of any irregularities noticed.
Answers questions or inquiries from patrons.
Performs other duties as assigned by an immediate supervisor or manager.
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have a minimum of one year experience dealing cards.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
