Description & Requirements

 

Summary

Responsible for establishing and maintaining web and online paid media presence. Develops and implements the strategic E-Commerce marketing plan. Manages the development, release and maintenance of Web applications, systems, and services that support company's E-Commerce business strategy.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

 

Manages the re-build and re-design of the cachecreek.com website. Implements all new content uploads and changes to the web site with ongoing web site performance optimization.

 

Partners with IT and Hotel Operations for implementing a booking engine solution for casino and non-casino customers.

 

Oversees all online media spending, including Paid Search, Display, retargeting, etc.

 

Partners with email marketing and social media on integrated online customer experiences.

Evaluates new emerging media platforms and vendors to help promote brand, and assist in vendor selection.

 

Monitors and manages agency/vendor partnerships.

 

Leverages analytics and insights to drive ongoing platform optimizations.

 

Monitors leading edge industry and reports on internet research, analysis and trends.

 

Acts as a liaison with key agency partners to build efficient E-Commerce processes.

 

Ensures all web content is current and accurate.

 

Monitors and tracks performance for mobile marketing initiatives, assembles performance reports, and produces department presentations.

 

Plans and develops strategies to continuously improve and optimize the online experience.

 

Develops E-Commerce Marketing Plan, including sales projections and performance metrics.

 

 

Develops and implements comprehensive E-Commerce strategy to meet business needs.

 

Collaborates with executive team to identify key business objectives related to E-Commerce.

 

Interfaces with subject matter experts to define business models that better apply E-Commerce and E-Business methodologies.

 

Designs E-Commerce strategy that includes business-to-business and business-to-consumer Web applications.

 

Implements leading edge technologies across multiple platforms to integrate end-to-end E-Commerce solutions.

 

Communicates E-Commerce strategy with executive team and all affected users within organization.

 

Collaborates with product development to determine best-of-breed Web applications for implementation of

E-Commerce strategy.

 

Oversees E-Commerce strategy implementation, including development and deployment of integration solutions between different platforms and user interfaces based on customer requirements.

 

Tracks critical indices to ensure E-Commerce strategy is meeting business objectives.

 

Guides executive team to continually improve E-Commerce strategy and direction.

 

Monitors emerging Internet technologies and directions.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises 0-1 employees in the E-Commerce Marketing Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Education and/or Experience

Five years related experience and/or training; Master's degree or equivalent; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have experience in all E-Commerce technologies (web servers, application servers, databases, IT integration, hosting, performance and security). Knowledge of website and E-Commerce development cycle to manage execution of website changes and continuous improvement of content and drive future technology innovation. Must have strong project management skills.

 

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

 

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

 

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
