Summary
Reporting to the Mini Mart Supervisor, the Mini Mart Attendant is responsible for providing fast, friendly and courteous guest service. The top priority of the Mini Mart Attendant is to be knowledgeable of all store merchandise, use suggestive selling techniques with customers, and to operate cash register and accurately balance cash drawer on a daily basis.

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Age Requirement
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Highly motivated, energetic and quality oriented individual. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Required work schedule may include evenings, nights, weekends and holidays. Knowledge of Verifone Ruby Point-of-Sale and Amcom Back Office Systems a definite plus. Self motivated. May be required to assist other departments within the division. Assures safety and security policies and procedures are followed.
Ability to remain calm and poised under pressure. Must be a team player but be able to work well independently. Must have flexible hours. Effective listener and communicator. Maintain a professional appearance reflective of the hotel image and conduct behavior in a mature and professional manner.
